How to view Google Analytics report

You can use Google Analytics free web & mobile analytics service in your web and mobile editions to analyze your readers behavior and make your decisions on future articles in your publications. Here is a quick tip on how you can view Google Analytics report.

  1. Go to www.google.com/analytics/ and click on Sign In button
    1. This page will give you an overview of the all available reports. You can see number of total sessions, duration etc
    2. Click on All Web Site Data to see full report
    1. Real-Time: You can view how many readers are using your editions in real time
    2. Audience: Audience will give an in-depth knowledge of your readers geo location, devices and technology they are using to read your editions and more...
    1. Behavior > Overview: Knowing how readers move through your editions and interact with your content lets you optimize your content and conversions.
    2. Page Views: The total number of pages viewed. This number includes repeated views of a single page. In other words, a single person may view the same page several times and each view is counted as a pageview.
  2. Behavior > Events > Overview: Will show you user interactions with ad links, hyperlinks and page links inside pages.
  3. Click on Event Label to view full hyperlinks and see number of times links are clicked
  4. Once your editions are live with tracking ID, you can view each report and explore more features of Google Analytics.
